New Years Resolutions

In Russia we kids didn’t do a New Year Resolution’s. The first time I did resolution was New Year‘s Eve 2009. Me and Ticklish Princess went to a New Year’s party at Beanie Baby’s house. After wards we spent the night there. We worked on a list of 100 things we wanted to do and change in 2010. We didn’t get to 100 because we ran out of things to write after 20. Then we were very tired because we stayed up late when we spent the night at Beanie Baby’s house. Then the next day we decided we wouldn’t continue the list because we didn’t have 100 things to put on it, so we crumbled it up and threw it away.
This year I’m hoping to change. It will be hard but I will try my best. I realized that I need to change or a lot of bad things will happen to me in the future life. One example is, I need to loose weight, or I might catch diabetes and I don’t want that to happen. The other thing I want to change my is attitude. I want to become even happier than I am already, and not look on the past life where evil was all around me and I couldn’t get out. This time I want to look on the plus side, not on the minus, and never give up. I want to stay on the right track and not let the devil mess up my life or win me over on his side.

Another thing that I want to become better at is helping my friends and listen to them when they want someone to listen to them. I want to be with them in rough situations with them and protect them from evil. When they are about to give up I want to be there and give them courage. One last thing is I want to become a better person in my family, which is very important to me. I don’t want to make my mom worry about me getting I trouble. I want to make my mom happy.

  1. Anastasia, this was a very honest, heartfelt, and encouraging post. I want to get better at a lot of things too, but we must remember, WE CAN'T DO THESE THINGS ON OUR OWN. We need help, we need strength, we need encouragement, we need -love that will always be there. Just rememver, that God will allways be there when you need him for strenghth, encouragement, love, and so much more. God bless you.
